SF Rod Show...

I wound up leaving the booth setup the same. I sold a few shirts today, but not really enough to cover my costs. I did, however, continue to make contact with people who thought they might want me to draw something for them or get a custom version of something I've already done.

Thanks Cam!

A few things I'll do differently next time: put my banner in the back and more shirts up front. Keep house nicer (it was kinda messy at times). Paint more toward the front (maybe). Have a mailing (or emailing) list sign-in.

I didn't even meet my lodging costs at this show, but made contact with lots of people and may have made some potential business contacts. I also learned how to paint.

It was nice to get away for a few days. Next time I think I'll do a retreat at my dad's hilltop vista home and paint in his yard, which often reminds me of a European villa. Not that I've been off this continent, but I've seen movies...

:) Thanks for reading, as always.
